Following the successes of Lunar part 1 we are following up with a different venue, we all know that you wanna party down on a Friday and The Nest just couldn’t offer us that without breaking our balls!

We are moving onto bigger and better pastures; a venue that has been shut for the past 12 months but is reopening its doors. Situated in New Cross its just a short ride south of the river on the East London line, Release is directly opposite Goldsmiths Uni on Lewisham Way.

Headlining we have The Heatwave, put in their own words;

The Heatwave are the UK’s number one bashment sound. Everywhere they go it’s a carnival, from their weekly Rinse FM show to raves all over the world.

When The Heatwave touch down it’s a madness: pure hype and energy. Huge tunes and quickfire mixing, girls brucking out and people banging on the ceiling for reloads.

The Heatwave sound ties together Jamaica and the UK. Their powerful compilations and mixes show how dancehall is the root of jungle, garage, grime, dubstep and funky.

HDD was formed in 2009 by residents Hootie Who and Kazabon. Hipsters Dont Dance is a monthly night at The C.A.M.P. playing the best in Tropical, Hip Hop and Bashment and they’ve played host to DJ’s: Warrior One, Smutlee, Serocee, Wifey, Deep Teknologi, Venom and Damage, Ulysses 82, Joe Grime, Clubb Rock, Murlo and Sticky.
